The Hunan-Africa Chamber of Commerce's inspection tour to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Guinea has been successfully concluded! It promotes the Hunan-Africa cooperation to a new height.

Itinerary: Lubumbashi → Kolwezi → Kinshasa → Conakry
Starting from Lubumbashi, the delegation of the Hunan Province-South Africa Economic and Trade Association visited the "mining capital" Kolwezi, the "heart of Africa" Kinshasa, and the "geological wonder" Guinea. Spanning over 4 cities in West Africa, the delegation spent 13 days and successfully facilitated the official signing of the first cooperation project of the association. Moreover, they also secured strategic projects in the fields of real estate development, mining development, and power energy, laying a fast track for Hunan enterprises to enter the West African market.
01 The elite troops set out, demonstrating the strength of the Hunan enterprises.
From July 21st to August 1st, 2025, the Hunan-Xinai Economic and Trade Association organized 11 member enterprises to conduct an overseas inspection trip to Africa. The trip covered 4 cities in West Africa and lasted for 13 days. The enterprises conducted in-depth inspections in Lubumbashi, Kolwezi, Kinshasa, and Conakry, focusing on core areas such as real estate, mining, energy and power. The total mileage of the African tour exceeded 30,000 kilometers.

This delegation is highly impressive, featuring 11 member enterprises including Hunan Jian'an Investment Group Co., Ltd., Hunan Xinghongyuan Investment and Development Co., Ltd., Hunan Changfeng Power Group, Sains Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., Hua Ping Information Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Yixin Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., Hunan Guozhizhong Technology Co., Ltd., Hong Kong Shinson Planning and Architectural Design Co., Ltd., and Changsha Jieya Commercial Management Co., Ltd. The delegation is led by Tang Xiang, the executive president of the Hunan-Africa Chamber of Commerce.
02 Precise Investigation, Discovering Business Opportunities in the Blue Ocean
Lubumbashi

On the 21st, the delegation visited the Africarider Group. Chairman Wu Bian and General Manager Wu Jingze, along with other senior management team members, warmly received them. The chairman provided a detailed introduction to the group's business layout in Africa, focusing on areas such as mining equipment and construction machinery. They have also established operating companies in Lubumbashi, Kolwezi, and Zambia in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Mr. Wu Jingze accompanied the delegation throughout their visit to the related businesses in the two cities.

On the 22nd, the delegation conducted an in-depth visit to the local market in Lubumbashi and conducted a field investigation of the second-hand clothing market, gaining a thorough understanding of the local commercial circulation and consumption ecosystem.
Coulouville

On the 22nd, accompanied by Mr. Huang Min, the General Manager of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and other leaders, the delegation visited the headquarters of the Shanghui Chamber of Commerce's executive vice president unit - Jinchengjian International Group Co., Ltd. The group's partner, Mr. Niu Rongbin, led the senior management team to warmly receive them.
On the morning of the 23rd, the delegation visited China Nonferrous Metals Mining Group. During the meeting, Group Secretary Huang Caoming introduced the investment history of Dizwa Mining, shared the investment experience and industrial operation situation of Chinese enterprises in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and conducted extensive and in-depth exchanges in areas such as mining smelting, power supply and demand, photovoltaic cooperation, and industrial parks, and put forward valuable suggestions.

On the afternoon of the 23rd, the inspection team visited the sulfuric acid plant and copper mine of Jincheng Construction Group in person, and went deep into the mining area to closely observe the mining operation process.

On the 24th, accompanied by Mr. Wu Jingze, the general manager of Rui Bei Industrial Co., Ltd., the delegation visited a high-quality plot located in the core area of Kolwezi, covering an area of approximately 7 hectares. The plot is bordered by streets (including the main road) on three sides and has the potential for developing a warehousing and logistics center. It is estimated that the rent for the warehouse upon completion could reach 6 US dollars per square meter per month. This project can be considered for inclusion in the project information database of the Hunan-Africa Chamber of Commerce.

The delegation visited the WLB sand brick factory in Kolwezi. The factory produces products such as cement pipes and sand bricks and is very busy. The Xiangfan-Africa Chamber of Commerce plans to integrate resources through equity investment or holding a controlling stake and turn it into an empowerment project.

The delegation visited the Luabara Copper Smelting Co., Ltd. under the China Nonferrous Metals Group, the alumni enterprise of the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business - Jinxin Congo (Kinshasa) Mining Co., Ltd., and the real estate project developed by the Indian businessman in the urban area.

On the afternoon of the 24th, the delegation held a meeting with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Luabala Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The rotating president of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Feng Yujun and Pan Dingji, as well as the honorary presidents Shen Juncheng, Niu Rongbin and Wu Zhiyong, received the delegation and organized the meeting. At the meeting, both sides reached consensus on establishing cooperative relationships, forming friendly chambers of commerce, strengthening business interactions, and forming strategic alliances.
Kinshasa
On the afternoon of the 25th, the delegation of the Hunan-Zambia Economic and Trade Association arrived in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, officially kicking off a four-day in-depth inspection tour.

On the morning of the 26th, the delegation first visited the property project located in the core affluent area of Kinshasa, where political and business resources are highly concentrated, which was the former site of the North Korean embassy. Then, they visited a residential development project of an Indian brand. Subsequently, they inspected two important real estate projects led by the Congolese (DRC) state-owned strategic mineral giant MIBA, and had lunch with the chairman of MIBA and others.

On the afternoon of the 26th, the delegation held a discussion and exchange meeting with the Chinese-funded enterprises association in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Secretary-General Luo Ya Feng and several representatives of large state-owned enterprises attended, including representatives from China Poly Construction Group, Central South University Alumni Association, China Railway No. 7 Bureau, China Railway No. 8 Bureau, China Communications First Highway Bureau, China Overseas Holdings, and the Five-Star Group of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The meeting deeply explored the potential cooperation paths between the Hunan-Africa Chamber of Commerce and the Chinese state-owned enterprises in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the field of engineering construction, and fully discussed the opportunities and cooperation visions for the coordinated development of key industries such as real estate, mining, and power and energy.

On the morning of the 27th: The delegation conducted on-site inspections of the Jin Cheng Jian Binjiang Real Estate Project, the Raphadun Community built by an Indian developer, as well as the high-quality projects developed by Chinese enterprises - Bohai International Community and Zhongjiao Community.
On the afternoon of the 27th, under the introduction and invitation of Mr. Huang Min, the general manager of China Overseas Engineering Co., Ltd., the delegation held a discussion with Mr. Deng Shangping, the CEO of China Shengwo Watson Congo (DRC) Holding Group, and Mr. Wang Shujun, the chairman of the China-Zaire Economic Special Zone in Congo (DRC), among other business leaders. The meeting deeply explored the operation models and risk avoidance strategies of private enterprises in Congo (DRC).
On the morning of the 28th: The delegation visited Mr. Huang Yuequan, the chairman of the Chinese community in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and had in-depth discussions on the operation of Chinese-funded business projects in the country.

On the afternoon of the 28th, an important outcome of this expedition was achieved - the executive vice president's unit of the Hunan Xiangafeng Economic and Trade Chamber of Commerce, namely Hunan Xinghongyuan Investment and Development Co., Ltd., officially signed a cooperation memorandum with the Congolese state-owned enterprise MIBA, jointly cooperating in the development of the existing land of MIBA Diamond Company in Kinshasa. This project marks the official launch of the first cooperation project successfully facilitated and implemented by the Hunan Xiangafeng Economic and Trade Chamber of Commerce since its establishment.
Conakry
Guinea is located in the western part of Africa. It borders the Atlantic Ocean to the west and is renowned as a "geological wonder". It is rich in minerals such as bauxite, iron ore, gold, and diamonds.

The delegation conducted on-site inspections of the two real estate projects planned by Chairman Wang Baicheng, visited the land reclamation project planned by Mr. Yao Jianping, a business owner from Sichuan, and investigated the large-scale real estate project of the Konakry New Town in Guinea and the development project of Dery Real Estate.

Subsequently, the delegation held a discussion and exchange meeting with the Henan International Guinea Company. During the meeting, they gained a deep understanding of the situation of bauxite mining in Guinea, learned about the investment situation of local Chinese, and exchanged views on real estate investment, mining, energy and trade, etc.

03 Work Together in Good Faith, Jointly Achieve a Bright Future for China and Africa
The current African business and economic exchange visit organized by the Hunan Province Xiangfei Economic and Trade Association not only enabled a thorough understanding of the core commercial resources of the Republic of the Congo and Guinea, but also achieved substantive results such as the signing of the first land development contract and the inclusion of 20 major projects in the database. These achievements have laid a foundation for implementing the "Nine Projects" of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum.
In the future, the Chamber of Commerce will adhere to the principles of "pragmatism and efficiency, mutual cooperation and win-win results", fully implement the strategic plan of the "China-Africa Cooperation Forum - Beijing Action Plan (2025-2027)", accelerate the implementation of projects such as the mining equipment project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the warehousing and logistics project, and the construction of the new city in Guinea, and contribute to the industrialization upgrade and transformation of Africa. It will write the chapter of Hunan enterprises in the construction of the China-Africa community of shared future in the new era.
