Ningbo, July 4 (China News Service The "Entering Cixi" - Business Cooperation Matching Conference for Central Asian Countries was held in Cixi City, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province on the 4th. Over a hundred people, including representatives from the embassies and consulates of Central Asian countries in China, business communities, and Chinese foreign trade enterprises, attended the conference to promote economic and trade cooperation between China and Central Asian countries.
Rakhmanov Khamidjon, the Commercial Consul of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Shanghai, said that the country is located in the "heart" of Central Asia and is actively developing transportation and logistics infrastructure, especially accelerating the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway and participating in the high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative". We have abundant natural resources, a superior geographical location and sufficient human capital. We look forward to expanding cooperation with foreign investors.

If the application process for building permits is simplified, the approval of urban construction projects will only take 10 working days. On that day, over a hundred local enterprises in the fields of home appliances and electronics, daily textiles, etc. held talks with representatives from the business communities of Central Asian countries and Chinese-funded enterprises, reaching intention orders worth 30 million yuan.
Yan Weiguo, the president of the Ningbo Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said in his speech that as of now, Ningbo enterprises have filed about 300 million US dollars of Chinese investment in Central Asian countries, and a total of 29 foreign-invested enterprises from Central Asian countries have been established in Ningbo. Ningbo, an important starting port of the Maritime Silk Road, is continuously strengthening cooperation with the Central Asian countries located in the core area of the ancient Silk Road to carry forward the "China-Central Asia Spirit".
