President's Address   

At the beginning of the meeting, Hou Xiangfeng, the president of the Xiangan Chamber of Commerce and the chairman of Hunan Xingwang Technology Group, delivered a speech. Mr. Hou pointed out that the chamber has been developing steadily for over two months since its establishment. The common goal of this meeting is to jointly explore how to bring the advantages, characteristics and strengths of Hunan enterprises to Africa and build Africa. Mr. Hou shared the results of the current visit to Tanzania and introduced the construction situation of the East African Hunan Industrial Park.   

Finally, Chairman Hou emphasized that currently, domestic enterprises are facing a development bottleneck, while Africa is entering a golden period of the next 3 to 5 years - this is precisely the crucial moment for Chinese enterprises to board the train of the times and establish their presence in Africa.

Share on the Project Inspection Experience in Africa in July  

The executive president of the Xianghai African Chamber of Commerce and the chairman of Hunan Jian'an Investment Group mainly shared the results of their July visit to four cities in West Africa. They also announced the launch of 20 African cooperation projects on the spot. The projects cover real estate development, new city construction, warehousing and logistics, photovoltaic energy storage, mining equipment industrial park, economic special zone projects, and China Town investment promotion projects, etc.

Project Sharing: Xiangfan Direct Purchase Platform  

Fu Nan, the executive secretary of the Xianghai African Chamber of Commerce and the general manager of Changsha Mooning Culture Communication Co., Ltd., shared the launch and establishment of the direct procurement platform of the chamber. This platform is based on the existing procurement resources of the chamber, and its business direction mainly focuses on the procurement of local materials in Africa: sand, stones, bricks, etc., while domestic material procurement mainly adopts a financing model. Currently, the first cooperation project is the WLB sand and brick factory, sandstone factory, and Likaxi stone powder factory of Jincheng Construction Group.

Project Sharing: Guinea Mine Car Electric Train Project  

Chen Forest, the deputy general manager of Guojian Group Hunan Company, introduced the investment opportunities for the electric heavy truck transportation of bauxite in Guinea. Mr. Chen provided detailed explanations on the project's requirements, solutions, and investment returns. This project was led by Huaping Information Technology Co., Ltd. After conducting on-site research in Guinea, a comprehensive assessment was carried out.

September Africa Exploration Plan Released 

Wang Siqi, the head of the Overseas Investigation Department of the Xiangfan Chamber of Commerce, shared the September African investigation plan, providing detailed information about the investigation itinerary, route, and business opportunities at the destination.

Free sharing and communication  

The executive vice president of the Xianghai Chamber of Commerce and the chairman of Jinchengjian International Group, Luo Hongjun, has traveled to 27 countries and regions across Africa over the past 12 years. Finally, he chose to establish Jinchengjian International Group Co., Ltd. in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, focusing on the development of two major sectors: mining and energy. Mr. Luo, based on his experience in Africa, has offered his unique and profound insights on Africa: "The Democratic Republic of the Congo is a country with high thresholds, high risks, high investment, but also high returns. If the groundwork is done well in the early stage, the risks will also decrease accordingly."       。   

Mr. Luo stated that he would provide support to the enterprises of the chamber of commerce in their overseas expansion to Africa, including resource matching, policy and legal affairs assistance, etc.   

Li Rulin, the executive vice president of the Xianghai African Chamber of Commerce and the chairman of Hunan Xinghongyuan Investment and Development Co., Ltd., said that before going to Africa, one should have a firm determination that "if they don't make money in Africa, they won't come back." They should also conduct more research and gain a deeper understanding of the local market potential, laws and regulations, policies and culture in Africa. Most importantly, the entrepreneurs from Hunan should do things in Africa within their own cognitive scope and in their professional fields, and take practical steps to broaden their horizons.   

Wang Yong, the general manager of the常务副会长 unit of the Hunan-Africa Chamber of Commerce - Hunan Changfeng Power Group, stated that currently, manufacturing enterprises in Hunan are highly competitive and are facing the problem of severe overcapacity. Changfeng Power will closely follow the platform of the chamber and leverage the strength of pioneers to gradually expand its presence in Africa.   

Gao Weirong, the chairman of Sains Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., said that in July, he accompanied the Xiangfan Chamber of Commerce on a very "down-to-earth" inspection trip in Africa. He personally experienced that Africa is like China in the 1980s and 1990s. "Africa is the blue ocean for bold and courageous people; wherever there are obstacles, we will find a way through." He suggested that everyone should engage in familiar fields in Africa and if they want to go to Africa, they should establish a firm foothold there.  

Li Jun, the chairman of Haotian Construction Group, Chen Lihua from Nok Automobile in Nigeria, Hou Shoucheng, the chairman of Hunan Yixin Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., and Fu Weigeng, the chairman of Chengyou Green Construction Group, among other business leaders, shared their views.
