Circuit breakers for international scheduled passenger flights will be optimized and adjusted

In accordance with the deployment of the joint prevention and control mechanism of The State Council, in order to efficiently coordinate epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, promote people-to-people exchanges and international exchanges and cooperation, and scientifically and accurately carry out epidemic prevention and control, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) began to optimize and adjust the circuit breaker measures for international scheduled passenger flights from August 7.

After adjustment, the circuit breaker measures are as follows: for a single inbound flight of an airline with 5 confirmed passengers, the operation will be suspended for one week when the proportion of confirmed passengers reaches 4% of the inbound passengers of the flight;

When the proportion of confirmed passengers reaches 8% of the inbound passengers of the flight, the operation will be suspended for two weeks.

The number of flights felled may not be adjusted for other routes.

Relevant policies will be adjusted in due course in light of the situation of the epidemic and the requirements for prevention and control.
