Chinese companies have met with Prime Minister Samar Lukonde of the Democratic Republic of Congo and will invest in building an automobile assembly plant in the DRC

Prime Minister Samar Lucomde of the Democratic Republic of Congo met with Diana Chen, head of CIG MOTORS, on July 28, 2022.

Chen said the meeting with the premier was very successful.
On the same day, he also met with the Minister of Industry and President of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This meeting has boosted the confidence of enterprises to invest in the DRC and will continue to promote the investment process.

Claude Ibalanky, coordinator of the National Mechanism for tracking agreements under Ethiopia, said the implementation of projects is conducive to promoting economic and social development, without which there can be no peace and vice
versa.

It is reported that the project is a medium-term project, which will take 18 months to build.

Chinese company CIG Motors is the exclusive agent for GAC Trumpchi in Nigeria, where it has a car assembly plant that produces high-quality vehicles.
