The construction industry is a crucial force in supporting the economic development of Longhui County and promoting urban and rural construction. On July 25th, the establishment meeting of the New Building Industry Chamber of Commerce in Longhui County and the first member assembly of the first session were successfully held. Representatives from all building industry enterprises in the county gathered together to discuss the new paths for the transformation and upgrading, as well as the collective development of the building industry in Longhui. Tang Xiang, the executive vice president of Hunan Xiangfei Economic and Trade Chamber of Commerce, and Luo Hongjun, the vice president, were invited to attend the event. Former deputy director of the Provincial Department of Commerce, Li Xingguo, and the county party secretary of Longhui, Liu Houjian, among other leaders, also attended the meeting.

The conference strictly followed the articles of association and legal procedures to approve the chamber of commerce's charter, election methods, and internal management regulations. Through democratic voting, the first council and the leadership team of the supervisory board were elected. Ding Zhaoyao was elected as the first president of the Longhui County New-Type Construction Industry Chamber of Commerce.

President Tang Xiaolin delivered a speech on behalf of the Hunan Xiangfei Economic and Trade Association, expressing warm congratulations on the establishment of the New Construction Industry Association of Longhui County. He stated that over the past century, Europe was the focus; over the past fifty years, the Americas were the focus; and in the past fifty years, Asia was the focus. In the next fifty years, the opportunities will definitely lie in Africa. Africa has a strong demand for infrastructure construction, and the markets for building materials, electricity, and engineering construction are huge. There are many construction enterprises in Longhui, but the domestic market competition is becoming increasingly fierce, and enterprises have a strong desire to go global. The Hunan Xiangfei Economic and Trade Association has been deeply involved in Africa, and its channels are gradually becoming more mature. There is a vast space for cooperation between the two sides: First, capacity matching. Longhui has mature construction capabilities, while Africa has strong construction demands; second, mining engineering. Africa has abundant mineral resources and huge demand for supporting infrastructure; third, forming alliances to go global. The Hunan Xiangfei Economic and Trade Association is willing to work with the construction enterprises in Longhui to jointly explore the African market.

Chang Hongjun was elected as the executive president of Longhui County New-Type Construction Industry Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Chang is the founder of Jincheng Construction Co., Ltd., a native of Longhui County, and a "builder" who has been deeply involved in the African market for fourteen years. He said, "Over the years, we have witnessed that Chinese manufacturing, Chinese engineering, and Chinese standards are increasingly recognized worldwide. The greatest confidence of enterprises abroad comes from the motherland, and the greatest concern is always for their hometown." He emphasized that he hopes the New-Type Construction Industry Chamber of Commerce in Longhui County can connect the scattered Longhui builders across the country and around the world, gather enterprises and resources, and create a platform of mutual trust, mutual assistance, and win-win cooperation, so as to contribute to the "going global" efforts of local enterprises and the high-quality development of the Longhui construction industry.
