The 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was held in Changsha on June 12th. Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Foreign Minister, Ugandan Prime Minister Nabanja, Liberian Vice President Kenga, and Kenya's Chief Cabinet Minister and Foreign Minister Mudawadi attended and delivered speeches.

The theme of this expo is "China and Africa Act Together to Pursue Modernization Dreams". Realizing modernization is the common dream of over 2.8 billion people in China and Africa, and it is also an important theme of the China-Africa community with a shared future. No matter how the international situation changes, China will stand firmly with Africa, provide strong support for Africa's modernization, and be a true friend and a good brother who shares weal and woe with Africa for joint development.

First, further carry out exchanges on governance between China and Africa, jointly explore the path to accelerate modernization, and support African countries in exploring modernization paths that suit their national conditions; Second, further promote the alignment of development strategies between China and Africa and accelerate the implementation of the "Ten Partnership Actions"; Third, further expand opening up to Africa and negotiate and sign the Economic Partnership Agreement for Common Development. Fourth, further deepen practical cooperation with Africa to assist Africa in advancing its industrialization process and digital transformation.

African leaders said that the theme of this expo, "China-Africa Joint Action for Modernization", has resonated widely among African countries. The "Ten Partnership Initiatives" have opened up new doors of opportunity for Africa, and it is expected to expand all-round cooperation in areas such as economic and trade investment, industrial parks, green energy, digital transformation, logistics and transportation, and agricultural modernization.

This expo attracted nearly 4,700 domestic and African enterprises and over 30,000 Chinese and foreign friends to participate. The total amount of the initially reached cooperation projects exceeded 11 billion US dollars.
