According to the official wechat account of the Chinese Embassy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), in order to further optimize the visa policy for foreigners visiting China, starting from January 9, 2022, the following changes will be made to the visa policy for people visiting China in the DRC:

I. Types of admissible visas

1. If you travel to China for diplomatic or official purposes, please submit the application materials directly at the Embassy.

2. For visit, transit, trade, reunion, personal affairs, study, work, residence, crew, talent and other purposes, applicants can submit applications to the Visa Agency Center in accordance with the relevant pre-epidemic policies.

3. Visa applications for tourism and medical treatment in China are still suspended at this stage.

If there is any further adjustment to the visa policy, the Embassy will release information on its website and wechat official account.

Ii. Bidding process

(1) Log on to www.visaforchina.org to fill in the People's Republic of China Visa Application Form online, and make an online reservation to submit the documents at the center.

(2) I go to the Visa Center at the appointed time to submit materials for on-site fingerprint and facial collection.

(3) The consular officer of the Embassy will inform the applicant to sign in person if necessary.
